We have a halloween picture of them together when they were babies and now they are three years old and playing. How cute is that!! Bailey fell asleep after the primary Halloween Carnival. What a cute little dog!!! I mean Lance :) He was so excited to get into the car with Bailey and Nate. Gavin, Nate, Evan, Brandon, Hailey Trick or Treating! Nate ran off on his own with his friends. Us parents were a little nervous. Glad they made it back safe. Napolean Dynamite and his girlfriend Deb! We are truly nerds.

We had a fun neighbor night with out kids. Our neighbors were way funny. My favorite were the gangsters. Nathan had so much fun. He has been singing patriotic songs all week. His class is doing a patriotic program for veterans day and his uncle Caleb is serving in the US ARMY. HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Morna May Merkley Grant

These are my Grandma and Grandpa's tomatoes and the ones in the widow sill are mine. I thought it was so funny and kinda ironic. I had been reflecting on my Grandma's life thinking how far I would have to come to be like her. She is truly someone I admire and I hope one day my tomatoes can be as good as hers, figuratively speaking. It was a reminder to me that I need to work hard at my life every day if I want to be with her again someday.
This is me and my cousin Jenacee she is such a neat girl.

All the boys spoke at the funeral. They did such a wonderful job. She loved her boys so much. They said she never complained about all the ball games, camping, hunting and just plain boys.

My Grandpa's heart is broken. Hopefully he can join her someday soon.

Bailey is Going to Preschool every Wednesday with her friend Hadley. Sometimes we wonder if they are ready to go but Bailey wants to be like her Big Brother and go to school.

Nathan is starting 2nd grade. His teacher is Mrs. Jacobsen. We got switched to a new school this year River Heights Elementary. Nathan was excited for his first day.

My Grandma and Grandpa sitting on their porch, enjoying some of the last moments of this earth life together. My Grandma has been diagnosed with throat cancer and the MD has told her that she does not have much time left. That will probably be the last time I see her. Some of my great memories of her house, Dove soap, swinging love seats outside, rocking chairs inside, using her nail polish and all of her Avon products, eating all of her Popsicles, her photo albums out on the table with a table cloth right when you come in, different animals every where, the window from the kitchen into the TV room where she would serve Grandpa the best sandwiches ever, twirling on the twirly chairs and looking out the long window towards the cows and the beautiful yard, the cow bell gate that I loved to hear every time I would come, all the trophies in the living room, the beautiful garden. I buy dove soap always now to just remind me of my sweet Grandma.

Before I left I hugged my Grandma and said, " I don't know if I will see you again" She said, " If not I will see you in Heaven" I just cried and told her goodbye.Lance's one year B-day party was fun. We had family come from both sides. We had hamburgers and the kids smashed cake all over their faces with Lance. Lance didn't really like that tradition. He had a good time! We love our sweet bubbers. He feels big with his own car to drive. Going to church with Addy, Lyla and Diana.A few trips to the Aquatic Center. Not many because Bailey and Lance were hard to keep track of. A good way to cool off in the evenings when it wasn't as busy. The annual walk to the temple with the Primary. It was so hot Nathan dunked his head in the fountain.Nathan did two basketball camps. He was named one of the all stars for his age division. Nate's coach was one of the Aggie B-ball players Brian Green.Staying in Park City with my family and Rhett's family. I think the boys are smiling for Lyla! (Desmond and Lance)
Desmond is Dixon's Baby. Bailey and Addy got to play together so much this summer. It was so fun for the both of them. They are just like sisters and I hope even though they sometimes fight that they can always be good friends.

Nate jumped off the highest platform to try and keep up with his cousin Zach.Bailey's 3 year old B-day. It was kinda low key. She wanted a cake with strawberries on it so that is what we made her. I can't believe she is already three. Nate loves to play with her. Bailey and Lance are still trying to get along. Hopefully soon they will be playmates forever more. Bailey wants to go on a date with Daddy. That is what she told me.We can't forget backyard baseball!!!!!

So long summer. I think I did more making memories than making beds but it was sooo worth it.

End Of SchOoL

I can't believe 4 weeks have already past since I have blogged. Lance is now 10 months and he has actually taken one or two wobbly steps. It is funny to me how alike he is to his brother Nathan. They are such good friends even though they are 6 years apart. His two front teeth still haven't come in but I can see the little bumps. He hasn't been to cranky about his teeth but he doesn't want me to leave his side and he prefers that I hold or play with him most of the day. Needless to say I get nothing done. Bailey has enjoyed gymnastics since Lance is hogging almost all of the Mommy time. She does really good and has made some friends. Nathan had a patriotic program that brought tears to my eyes. All of those first graders were so cute and full of energy. Nate you did so good memorizing your part. I am soooo glad summer is here and Nathan can be home with us. I feel like I don't even know him anymore he is gone so much either playing with friends or at baseball or school.
